Outreach Programs

Riverside United Church of Christ is committed to reaching out to the broader community. To that end we have engaged with various efforts to help our community.
 

Just Peace Action Team

The Just Peace Action Team (JPat) is an effort to bring peace to our world through service. The team meets monthly and most recently has been involved in helping homeless families. The team also collects donations for food pantries in the area.
 

Special Events

Riverside United Church of Christ holds special events throughout the year to benefit community organizations and to provide fellowship opportunities for people within our church and members of the community. Those events have included outreach days, benefit concerts, and work days. Some of the organizations  have included Hubbard House and the Jacksonville Area Sexual Minority Network (JASMYN).
