Ministry Teams

Our church has numerous ministry teams to provide for the needs of the congregation.

The Worship Team does everything needed to make sure that services at RUCC goes smoothly. They prepare and maintain communion elements and baptismal water, coordinate season and weekly decorations, ensure that all equipment operates properly and that all materials are available. The team also schedules liturgists and ushers.

The Evangelism Team is our welcome wagon! Its members ensure the cohesion of our congregation and reach out to potential congregants. They maintain mailing and other lists and arrange and coordinate monthly congregational activities.

The Hospitality Team makes our physical space open and welcoming. Team members coordinate the after-service fellowship hour and keep supplies available. They prepare the Faithwalk Center for study groups, special congregational dinners and holiday functions, as well as the monthly crockpot dinner. The team also obtains volunteers for the children's ministry when needed.

The Communications Team coordinates all church communications, such as the website, newsletter, and e-mail updates. The team also is responsible for translating our message into social media and for maintaining the media release forms for all members.

The Building and Grounds Team is responsible for keeping up our facilities. They coordinate work days to keep our interior and exterior spaces clean and repaired. They also maintain all building and grounds equipment and coordinate all repair and improvement activities.
